JOSHUA PROMISES EXPLOSIVE PERFORMANCE THIS WEEKEND!
British Heavyweight super prospect Anthony Joshua 11-0 ( KO's) has promised fans he will be at his brutal best this weekend when he headline's against Brazilian Raphael Zumbano Love 36-10-1 (29 KO's) in Birmingham, England.
Olympic Super Heavyweight champion Joshua has swept aside each opponent he has faced since turning professional with ease. He has been so dominant that he is yet to experience boxing into the fourth round, with no one 'good enough' to do so just yet. WBC South American champion Zumbano Love looks a good test on paper. The fact he comes to the ring with 29 KO's from 36 wins suggests the 6'4" slugger posesses power, if not amazing skills in the ring.
It remains to be seen if he will be good enough to test the chin of Joshua, which no man before him has managed so far. Joshua is promising a big performace. "Saturday is very important. My conditioning is improving day by day and my focus is totally on this fight. I want to put in an explosive performance for the fans.
“Everywhere I have been I have had an unbelievable reception and I am sure Birmingham will be the same. It's about building momentum. That was halted recently with the injury, I am going through a process and we have spoken about certain fights and they will happen.I will do things my way though, I have from the start and I will continue to do that. Everyone wants to fight me and I want to fight everyone, but I can't fight them all at once. This is not WWE wrestling, this is boxing - we'll do it at the right time and one at a time."
With 'AJ' fighting the tricky Kevin 'KINGPIN' Johnson just three weeks after this fight I expect to see the Londoner go for the kill early against the big Brazilian. I can see Joshua taking him out in the first 2-3 rounds. I dont think he will be good enough to make it to the fourth round. It's extremely refreshing to see a Heavyweight take on fights at short notice like this against on paper what looks like a dangerous fight. People have to remember this is just Joshua's 12th fight. He looks like the real deal in the ring and hes backing it up by facing good level opponents for a fighter of his experience.
